If you are a girl who’s ever had any skin concerns, you know how important it is to find the right foundation. Whether you have dry skin, aging skin or oily skin, your foundation can greatly impact how healthy your skin looks and feels.
In this review I will discuss Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation, which can be purchased from Sephora or Ulta. I first tried this foundation when I was living in Colorado Springs, a high-altitude city with very low humidity.

Ingredients: My new foundation contained no questionable ingredients! Free from parabens, sulfates and other harsh chemicals, Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation put my mind at ease. It caused no itching or other pore-clogging irritation, which I thought was excellent. **I also used this while pregnant!

Performance:  As far as performance goes, I give this foundation a 9 out of 10. The color matched my skin really well, and the coverage was good. I was impressed with how long it lasted, though I did have to find a creaseless concealer for under my eyes because this foundation did crease if I used only it. I have very sensitive skin (that will literally itch if my foundation contains irritating chemicals) and this foundation never causes irritation or clogged pores, which is hard to say of many foundations out there.

Recommendation:  Pair this foundation with a good powder, and the results should be excellent! I am wearing it today, and I will definitely purchase it again.
